Estonia's cancer charity: a mammography bus and mobile skin and prostate cancer clinics that travel the country, prevention campaigns, and psychosocial support for patients and families.
Eesti Vähiliit is a non-profit association (MTÜ) devoted to promoting healthy lifestyles, preventing cancer, early detection and supporting cancer patients. It works with clinical partners on cancer screening, and its mammography bus and mobile skin and prostate cancer diagnostic rooms travel around Estonia; its news pages also report a lung cancer early detection project in Viljandi county. It offers psychosocial support to patients and their relatives and publishes information on individual cancers in Estonian. Its UICC profile gives 1991 as the founding year and describes it as an umbrella for independent cancer NGOs. UICC lists it as a Full Member.
