The body that inspects and accredits stem cell transplant, cord blood and cellular therapy programmes against shared quality standards, in the US and abroad.
The Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy was formed in 1995 by experts in the emerging field of cellular therapy to set consensus standards for medical and laboratory practice, according to its own story page. Its voluntary accreditation programme inspects programmes against those standards; it co-publishes standards with JACIE, the accreditation committee of ISCT and EBMT, and performs inspections around the world. The IRS record lists it in Omaha, Nebraska. The IRS Business Master File lists revenue of about $7 million for the tax year ending December 2025.
