Netherlands Comprehensive Cancer Organisation (IKNL)
IKNL is the Dutch national cancer organisation that runs the Netherlands Cancer Registry and supports quality of care and research across the country, and a full member of the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes.
Overview
The Netherlands Comprehensive Cancer Organisation (Integraal Kankercentrum Nederland, IKNL) is the independent knowledge institute for oncological and palliative care in the Netherlands. It maintains the Netherlands Cancer Registry, a population-based registry covering every cancer diagnosis in the country, publishes national incidence, survival and treatment figures, and works with hospitals and professional groups on guidelines, quality registration and research. It is listed by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as a full member. Programme, trial and leadership details are not yet recorded here and should be checked on the hospital's own pages.
