Intermountain Health Cancer Center

aka Intermountain Healthcare Oncology, Intermountain Precision Genomics

The Mountain West health system that was among the first to bring in-house tumour sequencing to community oncology, via Intermountain Precision Genomics.

Intermountain Health is a non-profit system across Utah and the surrounding Mountain West whose cancer programme spans Intermountain Medical Center and regional hospitals. Its Precision Genomics programme, launched in St. George under Lincoln Nadauld, was one of the first health-system-run tumour sequencing services and reported that targeted therapy guided by its panel improved outcomes and costs in community practice; the biobank and data assets were spun into Culmination Bio in 2022. Intermountain has a long record in clinical informatics dating to Homer Warner's HELP system, and collaborates with Huntsman Cancer Institute on trials and referrals. Its research emphasises real-world evidence and care delivery.
