The US breast cancer charity known as Susan G. Komen: it funds research, community health outreach and patient programmes including financial assistance, and works on public policy.
Susan G. Komen traces its start to "a sisterly promise" made 43 years before its current about page was written. That page states that it has invested nearly $3.6 billion in research, community health outreach, advocacy and programmes in more than 60 countries, and that 29 breast cancer drugs developed over the past 30 years were made possible in part by Komen research funding. It has its headquarters in Dallas and an office in Washington, DC, with local affiliates around the country. The IRS Business Master File lists revenue of about $103 million for the tax year ending March 2025.
