Oncology Institute of Vojvodina

The Oncology Institute of Vojvodina (Institut za onkologiju Vojvodine) in Sremska Kamenica, across the Danube from Novi Sad, was founded in 1963 and is the specialised cancer hospital and teaching base for the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Novi Sad, serving the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina with surgery, medical oncology, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine. It is listed by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as an associate member.
