A UK research charity working on early detection, prevention and treatment of ovarian cancer, with a goal that half of women live more than 10 years after diagnosis by 2032.
Ovarian Cancer Action is a UK ovarian cancer research charity working on early detection, prevention and treatments. It says it funds more ovarian cancer research than any other UK gynaecological cancer charity and has been at the heart of the global ovarian cancer research community for four decades. It notes that in the UK only one in three women live more than 10 years after diagnosis, and its goal is that by 2032 half of women will. Its research pages describe a research network and a surgical fellowship. The register says it also campaigns so that women and healthcare providers know risk factors, symptoms and treatment options. The Charity Commission register records latest income of about £1.6 million for the year ending 31 March 2025.
