Overview
Jonathan Ledermann led Study 19, the randomised trial showing maintenance olaparib prolongs progression-free survival in platinum-sensitive relapsed ovarian cancer with the largest effect in BRCA-mutant disease, the proof of concept for every subsequent PARP inhibitor maintenance approval. He has led the ICON trials, chaired the Gynecologic Cancer InterGroup, and led ESMO-ESGO ovarian cancer guidelines.
