Robert L. Coleman
Gynaecologic oncologist who led ARIEL3 and GOG-0213, shaping PARP maintenance and secondary surgery in relapsed ovarian cancer.
Overview
Robert Coleman (US Oncology Research, Texas) was principal investigator of ARIEL3, which established rucaparib maintenance in recurrent ovarian cancer, and of GOG-0213, which found no survival benefit from secondary cytoreductive surgery but confirmed bevacizumab's benefit at relapse. He served as GOG programme director and has led many NRG gynaecological trials.
