Kathleen N. Moore
Led SOLO-1 and MIRASOL, which gave ovarian cancer a maintenance PARP inhibitor and its first ADC with a survival benefit.
Overview
Kathleen Moore was principal investigator of SOLO-1, which showed two years of maintenance olaparib after first-line chemotherapy dramatically extends progression-free survival in BRCA-mutant ovarian cancer and later showed a survival benefit, and of MIRASOL, which showed mirvetuximab soravtansine improves survival in platinum-resistant folate receptor alpha-high disease, the first ADC to do so in ovarian cancer. She is associate director of the GOG Partners programme and leads early-phase gynaecological trials.
