Maha Hussain
Led PROSPER and the PROfound survival analysis, and settled the intermittent hormone therapy question with SWOG 9346.
Overview
Maha Hussain led SWOG 9346, the trial that showed intermittent androgen deprivation is not non-inferior to continuous therapy in metastatic prostate cancer, and was principal investigator of PROSPER (enzalutamide in non-metastatic CRPC) and first author of the PROfound overall survival report establishing olaparib in HRR-mutant disease. She chairs the SWOG GU committee's prostate programme.
