Stephenson Cancer Center, OU Health
Oklahoma's only NCI-designated centre, consistently among the top enrollers in NRG gynaecologic trials and home of the SOLO1 and MIRASOL ovarian cancer lead investigator.
NCI-designated in 2018, Stephenson Cancer Center is the only NCI centre in Oklahoma and serves a state with large American Indian populations. Its gynaecologic oncology group is one of the most productive in the NCI's National Clinical Trials Network: Kathleen Moore led SOLO1, which established olaparib maintenance in newly diagnosed BRCA-mutated ovarian cancer, and MIRASOL, which confirmed the folate receptor alpha ADC mirvetuximab soravtansine in platinum-resistant disease. The Oklahoma Tobacco Research Center and TSET-funded cancer control programmes address the state's high smoking rates, and the centre runs an active phase 1 programme.
