Cancer immunology, immunotherapy
Cancer Immunology, Immunotherapy (CII) is a long-running Springer journal on how the immune system recognises cancer and how that can be turned into treatment. Read by tumour immunologists and immunotherapy clinicians.
Overview
Cancer Immunology, Immunotherapy (CII) is published by Springer and is affiliated with six cancer immunotherapy organisations: the Association for Cancer Immunotherapy (CIMT), the Canadian Cancer Immunotherapy Consortium, the Japanese Association for Cancer Immunology, the Network Italiano per la Bioterapia dei Tumori, the Spanish SEI-GEIT group and Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunomonitoring (CITIM). Its aims page states that since its inception in 1976 it has reported advances in tumour immunology, publishing broad-ranging ideas and reviews, results that extend or challenge established paradigms, and negative studies, across basic, translational and clinical research. NLM dates the present title to 1982, when it continued Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy; it appears twelve times a year. DOAJ records it as fully open access since 2024 under CC BY and CC BY-NC-ND licences with an article processing charge, and anonymous peer review. Indexed in MEDLINE.
