Overview
Carcinogenesis is a monthly journal published by Oxford University Press (originally by IRL Press, from 1980). It describes itself as a multidisciplinary journal bringing together the varied aspects of research that will ultimately lead to the prevention and effective treatment of human cancer. Its About page groups content into four areas: cancer prevention, epidemiology and molecular epidemiology; inflammation, the tumour microenvironment and cancer immunology; carcinogenesis, genetics and epigenetics; and translational cancer research. It is a hybrid journal, with subscription access and an open access publishing option with associated charges. Indexed in MEDLINE.
