Overview
Oncology Reports describes itself as a monthly, peer-reviewed journal devoted to high quality original studies and reviews covering fundamental and applied research in oncology, focusing on carcinogenesis, metastasis and epidemiology. It was founded in 1994 in Athens, first under the imprint of the National Hellenic Research Foundation and, since 2003, published by D. A. Spandidos as Spandidos Publications. The NLM Catalog records six issues a year until 2003 and monthly publication since 2004, with print issues ceasing after volume 44 in 2020. Articles on the journal website are labelled open access, though the journal is not listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals.
