Overview
Gastric Cancer is the joint official journal of the International Gastric Cancer Association and the Japanese Gastric Cancer Association, published by Springer under a hybrid publishing model. Its aims state that it publishes significant studies related to stomach neoplasms and welcomes original articles, case reports, short communications and technical notes peer-reviewed by the editorial board, plus Letters to the Editor; review articles are in principle solicited by the Editor and meeting reports summarise symposia or consensus from the associations' congresses. The NLM Catalog records a start in 1998 with Springer-Verlag Tokyo and MEDLINE indexing.
