Journal of gastric cancer
The Korean Gastric Cancer Association's open access journal on stomach cancer, from prevention and screening to surgery and drug treatment. Read by gastric surgeons, gastroenterologists and oncologists, especially in East Asia.
Overview
The Journal of Gastric Cancer is the official journal of the Korean Gastric Cancer Association, which also publishes it. Its homepage describes it as open access and peer-reviewed, indexed in MEDLINE, PubMed Central, SCIE and Scopus, and it publishes original articles, review articles, special articles, guidelines, letters to the editor and a How I Do It category, including the Korean practice guidelines for gastric cancer. NLM catalogues it from 2010 as a quarterly and records that volume 10 numbers 2 and 3 (2010) were issued in Korean with English summaries and that the journal has been issued in English from volume 10 number 4 onwards. The homepage states that an article processing charge applies to original articles, reviews and How I Do It papers, revised to US $3,000 in 2026. The journal is not listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals; the open access label here rests on the publisher's own statement.
