In Vivo is published by the International Institute of Anticancer Research (IIAR) in Attiki, Greece, alongside its sister titles Anticancer Research, Cancer Genomics & Proteomics and Cancer Diagnosis & Prognosis. Its homepage shows recent articles on prognostic biomarkers in cancer, tumour metastasis models, cell culture studies and population cohort studies, many labelled Open Access, and announces themed special issues. The NLM Catalog records that it began in 1987 in Athens, has been published by IIAR since 2000, appears bimonthly, ceased print issues with volume 30 (2016), has been the official journal of the International Society for the Study of Comparative Oncology since 1996, and is indexed in MEDLINE and PubMed Central.
