Overview
The Journal of Cancer Survivorship: Research and Practice is published by Springer Nature and catalogued by NLM from 2007 as a United States quarterly indexed under Neoplasms and Survivors. It publishes original research on cancer survivors, systematic, meta-analytic and scoping reviews that follow PRISMA reporting guidance, clinical investigations and policy-related research that can affect the quality of care and quality of life of survivors, spanning basic and epidemiological studies, clinical investigations and health-services research. The journal defines survivors broadly as people diagnosed with and treated for cancer, whether living with or free of disease, including those on prolonged treatment after primary therapy, from adolescents to older adults. The publisher lists a hybrid model and states that the journal will move to fully open access on 1 January 2027.
