Overview
Leukemia Research is published by Elsevier and is the official journal of the Myelodysplastic Syndromes Foundation. The journal describes itself as an international journal bringing comprehensive and current information to all health care professionals involved in basic and applied clinical research in haematological malignancies, with a scope that includes cellular and molecular biology, genetics, immunology, epidemiology, clinical evaluation and therapy of these diseases; it has an open access companion title, Leukemia Research Reports. Elsevier lists it as supporting open access with an open archive, offering authors a choice between paying an article publishing charge for open access and subscription publication with no fee. NLM records the journal as starting in 1977, originally under Pergamon Press in Oxford, and currently indexed in MEDLINE.
