Lung Cancer is published by Elsevier and is described on its ScienceDirect page as an international journal for lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies and an official journal of the European Society for Medical Oncology, the ETOP IBCSG Partners Foundation and the British Thoracic Oncology Group; NLM catalogues it under its older subtitle as the journal of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer. It covers the clinical, translational and basic science of malignancies of the lung and chest region, welcoming original research articles, early reports, review articles, editorials and correspondence on prevention, epidemiology and aetiology, basic biology, pathology, clinical assessment, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, combined modality treatment and outcomes. Elsevier lists it as supporting open access with an open archive, with a choice of open access (article publishing charge) or subscription publication.
