Overview
Magyar Onkológia (Hungarian Oncology) is the official journal of the Hungarian Society of Oncologists (Magyar Onkológusok Társasága), published quarterly in Budapest by Professional Publishing Hungary Kft. The author guidelines state that it publishes original Hungarian- and English-language papers, with summaries in both languages, on the practice and theory of oncology: invited reviews, professional recommendations, original articles and clinicopathological case presentations. It also carries abstracts of Hungarian oncology conferences, including the society's congresses, the meetings of its Young Oncologists Section and the Hungarian Society for Radiation Oncology congresses. Submitted manuscripts are reviewed by the editorial board with the help of experts in a single anonymous review. The journal website offers full-text search of articles and publication statistics. NLM records the journal as starting in 1957 and currently indexed in MEDLINE.
