Pathology oncology research

Pathology and Oncology Research (POR) was established in 1995 in Budapest by its founding editors László Kopper, Judit Nagy, Zsolt Orosz and József Tímár, and has carried the title Pathology & Oncology Research since 1998. Since 2021 it has been published by Frontiers Media SA in Lausanne and is supported by the Arányi Foundation for Modern Pathology. The journal welcomes work on the understanding, diagnosis, classification, prognosis and treatment of neoplasms, including tumour biology and mechanisms of progression, tumour pathology and molecular diagnostics, clinical and translational oncology, and digital pathology and artificial intelligence; purely computational studies without validation are not considered. POR provides gold open access under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licence with authors retaining copyright; DOAJ records an article processing charge and anonymous peer review. The NLM Catalog lists it as quarterly.
