Synergistic anti-tumor effect of dichloroacetate and ivermectin
Three patients treated at a private clinic with dichloroacetate, omeprazole, tamoxifen and ivermectin were reported to have relief of symptoms; there was no control, no measured tumour response and no follow-up study.
Overview
The authors, who had earlier proposed that dichloroacetate, omeprazole and tamoxifen block cancer progression by reducing lactic acid production, present three patients in whom adding ivermectin was said to have 'dramatically relieved' the symptoms of cancer and sarcoma progression (Ishiguro case series 2022). The report describes symptom relief rather than tumour measurements (Ishiguro case series 2022).
