Mark Middleton
Medical oncologist who co-directs Oxford Cancer, the city-wide partnership between the University of Oxford and Oxford University Hospitals.
Overview
Mark Middleton is one of three Directors of Oxford Cancer, the network and partnership between the University of Oxford and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, alongside Tim Elliott and Adam Mead, and he co-chairs its Governance Board. He is Head of the Department of Oncology, Professor of Experimental Cancer Medicine and a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the Oxford Cancer and Haematology Centre, working on early phase, melanoma and upper gastrointestinal cancer trials. He trained at Cambridge, Oxford and the Christie Hospital and has been chief or principal investigator on more than 100 trials.
