Nikolaus Rajewsky
Systems biologist at the MDC known for microRNA and circular RNA discoveries and for single-cell and spatial genomics applied to cancer.
Overview
Nikolaus Rajewsky leads the Systems Biology of Gene Regulatory Elements laboratory at the Max Delbrück Center and heads its Berlin Institute for Medical Systems Biology (BIMSB). His group combines computational and experimental approaches to study non-coding RNAs, organoids and spatial transcriptomics, with disease programmes in triple-negative breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and neuroblastoma in collaboration with Charité.
