Screening that a country organises for everyone in an age group, rather than leaving to individual requests: who is invited, with which test, how often, and what it costs the person.
IARC's CanScreen5 fact sheets describe national programmes for breast, cervical and colorectal cancer by the same fields: whether a policy is documented and as what (law, notification or recommendation), when the programme started, the tests with their target ages and intervals, what is free, how people are invited, and performance indicators where supplied. Programmes for other cancers (lung in Croatia, oral cancer in Taiwan, prostate in Lithuania) are described from their published evaluations. Each country record links the source it copies.
