OMOP common data model and OHDSI

A shared format for patient records that lets hospitals around the world run the same study on their data without sharing it.

The Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership common data model, maintained by the OHDSI community, standardises EHR and claims data with a single vocabulary; the oncology extension adds cancer-specific concepts. Enables federated network studies across hundreds of databases.
