This early study combines a DNA-repair drug with a treatment targeting macrophages in advanced breast cancer. It is recruiting, with strict lung-history requirements.
Registry status recruiting, last updated 2026-09-02. Enrollment is 20 estimated. Metastatic or unresectable HER2-negative breast cancer with a deleterious or suspected deleterious germline/somatic BRCA1/2 mutation or germline PALB2 mutation, documented by a CLIA-certified laboratory. Axatilimab targets CSF1R and is combined with olaparib in phase 1b. The registry excludes a history of pneumonitis or ILD, or baseline evidence of either. Dana-Farber and Mayo are listed recruiting; cohort/site slots need confirmation. This human two-drug study is distinct from preclinical three-drug PARP/CSF1R/SREBP1 experiments and does not establish adjuvant efficacy.
