Bain Capital Life Sciences 'was founded in 2016 and builds on Bain Capital's four decades of healthcare and life sciences investing' (about page). It targets four kinds of opportunity: Inflection Capital, Growth Capital, Fallen Angels, and larger private equity collaborations and new company formation, across biopharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic and life science tool companies globally. The firm is a frequent participant in crossover and PIPE financings.
