Biodesix
Biodesix sells blood tests that help doctors judge whether a lung nodule seen on a scan is likely to be cancer, and tests that guide treatment once lung cancer is diagnosed.
Overview
Biodesix is a Nasdaq-listed diagnostics company headquartered in Louisville, Colorado (previously Boulder) focused on lung disease. Its Nodify Lung nodule risk assessment testing uses blood-based biomarker assays to help clinicians stratify the malignancy risk of indeterminate pulmonary nodules, and IQLung provides treatment guidance testing for patients diagnosed with lung cancer. The company also offers custom biomarker development services to biopharma and research partners. Tests are laboratory developed and reviewed under New York State CLEP; they are not FDA cleared. In the second quarter of 2026 Biodesix reported 20,900 diagnostic tests, a 38 percent year-on-year increase, and raised $6.5 million net through its at-the-market programme. The company completed its initial public offering in October 2020, selling 4 million shares at $18.00 for about $72 million gross.
