Overview
Clear Gene develops molecular assays for surgical margin assessment, intended to show whether tumour tissue remains at the edge of a resection so that re-operation rates can fall, with breast surgery as the first application. The tests use epigenetic and genomic markers rather than conventional histology. The company remains active in the YC directory; it has not announced a marketed product or pivotal validation in a primary source found at the time of checking.
