Overview
theMednet started as a physician-only oncology network where treating doctors post questions about real cases and academic experts answer, building a searchable archive of curated clinical judgement that sits between guidelines and the literature. It has since expanded beyond oncology and layers AI search over the archive and the published evidence. The company states that over 40,000 US physicians use the platform. It was co-founded by siblings Samir and Nadine Housri, a radiation oncologist, after their father's cancer treatment.
