Overview
The Danish Breast Cancer Cooperative Group (DBCG) was established by the Danish Surgical Society in 1976 to ensure optimal diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer nationwide; from the start it has written evidence-based national guidelines for surgery, radiotherapy and systemic therapy and run a clinical database to which pathology, surgery and oncology departments report (dbcg.dk, About DBCG). Its secretariat is at Rigshospitalet, department 2501, Blegdamsvej 9, Copenhagen. In OnCo it is the sponsor of DBCG 82b and 82c (phase 3, postmastectomy radiotherapy in high-risk premenopausal and postmenopausal breast cancer, run before registry registration). It has no products of its own.
