Echo Immune's stated focus is recurrence: a tumour carries a unique molecular signature, surgery or therapy removes most of it, and the vaccine is meant to teach the immune system to recognise what is left. The company makes personalised mRNA cancer vaccines for the individual patient, the approach that BioNTech and Moderna have taken into phase 3 in melanoma. It is an Even One Ventures portfolio company and has not published trials.
