Erasca
Erasca develops pills that shut down the RAS signalling pathway, one of the most common drivers of cancer. Its two lead drugs aim to block all forms of RAS or KRAS rather than a single mutation.
Overview
Erasca is a San Diego clinical-stage company focused on RAS/MAPK pathway-driven cancers. Its lead candidates are ERAS-0015, a pan-RAS molecular glue in the phase 1 AURORAS-1 trial in RAS-mutant solid tumours, and ERAS-4001, a pan-KRAS inhibitor in the phase 1 BOREALIS-1 trial in KRAS-mutant solid tumours. Earlier programmes include ERAS-007 (an ERK inhibitor, phase 1b/2 HERKULES-3 in colorectal cancer combinations) and ERAS-801 (phase 1 THUNDERBOLT-1 in recurrent glioblastoma), while the company is exploring strategic alternatives for ERAS-12, an EGFR domain 2/3 bispecific antibody. Erasca completed its Nasdaq IPO in July 2021 with gross proceeds of 345 million US dollars and has since completed several follow-on offerings.
