InduPro Therapeutics maps which proteins sit side by side on the surface of cancer cells and designs two-armed antibody-drug conjugates that bind such a pair. Its first medicine, for lung and other squamous cancers, entered a phase 1 trial in 2026.
InduPro Therapeutics, formed in 2022 with offices in Seattle and Cambridge, Massachusetts, uses a proximity-guided discovery platform to find Tumour Associated Proximity Antigens (TAPAs), proteins that sit next to a known target on cancer cells, and builds bispecific antibody-drug conjugates against the pair. Its lead IDP-001 is a bispecific ADC against EGFR and TAPA-E1; on 12 August 2026 the company reported the first patient dosed in a phase 1 study (NCT07602842) in advanced or metastatic squamous or non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer and other squamous solid tumours. Further programmes listed include IDP-012 (EGFR x TAPA-E1 with a topoisomerase 1 inhibitor payload), IDP-004 (MET x TAPA-M1) and PD-1 bispecifics for immuno-oncology and autoimmunity. Financing comprises an USD 85 million Series A in June 2024 co-led by The Column Group and Vida Ventures and a USD 77 million Series B in August 2026 led by The Column Group, with Sanofi and Eli Lilly among new investors; Lilly also signed an oncology collaboration in January 2026.
