NEOK Bio makes antibody-drug conjugates that recognise two proteins on a cancer cell at once before delivering a cell-killing drug, an approach meant to aim the drug more precisely at tumours. Its first two medicines began early human trials in solid tumours in 2026.
NEOK Bio develops bispecific antibody-drug conjugates for solid tumours and launched from stealth on 4 November 2025 with a USD 75 million Series A, its principal investor being the Korean antibody engineering company ABL Bio. Both lead programmes came from ABL Bio: NEOK001 (formerly ABL206), a bispecific ADC against ROR1 and B7-H3, and NEOK002 (formerly ABL209), a bispecific ADC against EGFR and MUC1. The FDA cleared the NEOK001 IND in January 2026 and the NEOK002 IND in March 2026, and on 27 May 2026 the company reported first patients dosed in phase 1 trials of both, in advanced solid tumours expressing the respective target pairs, with initial data expected in 2027. Mayank Gandhi is co-founder and chief executive.
