Overview
The Therapy Acceleration Program (TAP) is the venture philanthropy programme of the charity founded in New York in 1949 as the Robert Roesler de Villiers Foundation, later the Leukemia Society of America, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (1999 to 2025) and now Blood Cancer United (Wikipedia). The charity funds research into leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood cancers, and TAP makes equity investments and partnerships with biotech companies to accelerate blood cancer therapies. Both lls.org and bloodcancerunited.org returned HTTP 403 (Cloudflare) on every fetch attempt, so the programme's own description, launch year, current name and portfolio companies could not be confirmed from a primary source.
