Lomond Therapeutics is developing two tablets for blood cancers: lomonitinib, which blocks the FLT3 and IRAK4 proteins in acute myeloid leukaemia, and lonitoclax, which blocks BCL-2 in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and acute myeloid leukaemia. Both are in early trials.
Lomond Therapeutics Holdings, Inc. is a Delaware biopharmaceutical company focused on haematological cancers. According to its 2025 annual report on Form 10-K (filed April 2026), it was co-founded by OrbiMed Advisors, Torrey Pines Investment and Dr John C. Byrd, was spun out of Eilean Therapeutics, LLC (its former parent), and became an SEC registrant through a reverse merger with Venetian-1 Acquisition Corp. on 1 November 2024; its common stock was not listed on an exchange or quoted over the counter, and it filed a Form 15 on 10 July 2026 to terminate its registration. Its lead candidate lomonitinib (ZE46-0134) is an oral inhibitor of FLT3, including resistance mutations, and IRAK4, in a phase 1 dose escalation and expansion study in FLT3-mutated or spliceosome-mutated relapsed or refractory AML (NCT06366789). It holds an exclusive worldwide licence from Eil Therapeutics to lonitoclax (ZE50-0134), a BCL-2 inhibitor tested in healthy volunteers (NCT06787131), in relapsed or refractory B-cell cancers including CLL and small lymphocytic lymphoma (NCT06708897) and with azacitidine in AML (NCT07303660); a menin inhibitor licence from Bala Therapeutics was terminated in early 2026. Its first registered cancer trial, NCT06366789, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in April 2024.
