Lucence
Lucence offers blood tests that read both tumour DNA and tumour RNA from a single sample to help doctors choose targeted treatments, and is developing a multi-cancer screening test.
Overview
Lucence is a precision diagnostics company with laboratories in Singapore and Palo Alto, California, and an office in Hong Kong. Its AmpliMARK amplicon-based technology enables ultrasensitive detection of cell-free DNA and RNA. The flagship LiquidHALLMARK assay profiles circulating tumour DNA and RNA in one blood draw to identify actionable mutations and fusions in solid tumours, with a cerebrospinal fluid version for central nervous system cancers. LucenceINSIGHT is a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test the company states screens at 99 percent specificity, and LucenceMONITOR addresses treatment monitoring. Laboratories are CAP-accredited and CLIA-certified. Data on combined ctDNA and ctRNA yield were presented at ASCO 2025, and in March 2026 Lucence, DxD Hub and the National Cancer Centre Singapore launched an S$6 million research collaboration.
Notes
top- No funding round could be sourced from primary releases on the company site; stage set to startup provisionally. Founding year not sourced. Cancer and target tags reflect typical LiquidHALLMARK coverage described generically on the site rather than a fetched panel list.
