Shanghai Sunway Biotech developed and manufactures H101 (Oncorine), an E1B-deleted oncolytic adenovirus approved by China's regulator in November 2005 for late-stage nasopharyngeal carcinoma with chemotherapy. It remains the only approved oncolytic virus in China and is being studied in liver and other cancers.
