Silexion Therapeutics is an Israeli company making a gene-silencing medicine, SIL204, that stops cancer cells making the faulty KRAS protein. A larger trial in pancreatic cancer that has spread locally began in Israel in July 2026.
Silexion Therapeutics Corp, of Ramat Gan, Israel, became a listed company through a business combination with Moringa Acquisition Corp completed on 15 August 2024. It develops RNA interference therapies for KRAS-driven cancers. Its lead candidate SIL204 is a second-generation siRNA engineered to suppress the KRAS oncogene itself, given both into the tumour and systemically by subcutaneous injection with standard chemotherapy. The company states that a phase 2 trial of its first-generation siRNA with chemotherapy showed an overall survival benefit over chemotherapy alone. In the second quarter of 2026 it received approvals from the Israeli Ministry of Health and Germany's BfArM for a phase 2/3 trial of SIL204 in locally advanced pancreatic cancer, and initiated the trial at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in late July 2026.
