Ubix Therapeutics is a Korean company making medicines that make cancer cells break down a target protein rather than just block it. Its lead drug destroys BTK, a protein that drives B-cell blood cancers, including forms resistant to current BTK inhibitors.
Ubix Therapeutics, Inc., based in Songpa-gu, Seoul, develops targeted protein degraders it calls Degraducers. Its lead programme UBX-303-1 (registered as UBX-303061) degrades Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) and, according to the company, showed antitumour activity in preclinical models with wild-type BTK and the C481S resistance mutation; UBX-106 and UBX-306 are undisclosed immuno-oncology programmes. In March 2026 the company withdrew its application for preliminary review of a KOSDAQ listing, saying it would reapply after clinical results and licensing progress. Its first registered cancer trial, NCT06590961, a phase 1a/1b dose-escalation and expansion study of UBX-303061 in relapsed or refractory B-cell malignancies at sites in the United States, Poland and Korea, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in September 2024.
