AGX-148 is an experimental cell therapy from AgonOx made from the tumour-recognising immune cells in a patient's own tumour. It is in an early trial in solid tumours.
AGX-148 is AgonOx's lead TIL programme. AgonOx sponsors NCT05902520, a phase 1 trial of cancer-specific CD8 tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes in adults with solid tumours, listed on ClinicalTrials.gov as active and not recruiting, and a 2026 National Cancer Institute SBIR award funds its development for breast cancer.
A patient's own CD8 tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes, enriched for the CD39-positive, CD103-positive subset that AgonOx describes as tumour-reactive, expanded and infused back.
