Alfred Health runs The Alfred, a large public teaching hospital in Melbourne, and is the clinical partner of Monash University's Central Clinical School. Its Department of Haematology is one of Australia's leading centres for lymphoma and leukaemia trials; Constantine Tam, who heads the lymphoma service and is professor of haematology at Monash, led the first-in-human and phase 3 studies of zanubrutinib and the early studies of venetoclax combinations in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and mantle cell lymphoma.
