Bahrain Oncology Center, King Hamad University Hospital

The Bahrain Oncology Center is the dedicated cancer facility of King Hamad University Hospital in Muharraq, built to give Bahraini patients comprehensive treatment at home instead of travelling abroad. It provides medical oncology, radiation oncology, haematology with a bone marrow transplant unit, nuclear medicine and PET-CT, surgical oncology and palliative care, and hosts the national cancer registry and screening activities with the Ministry of Health. The hospital is affiliated with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland Medical University of Bahrain for training.
