Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa
Major General and physician who commands Bahrain's Royal Medical Services, the health system that runs King Hamad University Hospital and the national Bahrain Oncology Center.
Overview
Major General Dr Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa is Commander of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) of the Bahrain Defence Force, the government health system whose hospitals include the Military Hospital, King Hamad University Hospital and the Bahrain Oncology Center, a national centre for haematology-oncology, medical oncology, radiotherapy and bone marrow transplantation. The RMS site carries his message as Commander and reports that a Royal Decree promoted him from Brigadier General to Major General, marked at a meeting with the BDF Commander-in-Chief on 19 November 2025. The King Hamad University Hospital website was unreachable when checked, and the RMS pages fetched do not name a separate director for the oncology centre.
