Overview
The N. N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology of the Russian Ministry of Health, on the Kashirskoye Highway in south Moscow, describes itself as the largest oncology clinic in Russia and Europe. It comprises five institutes, among them clinical oncology, paediatric oncology and haematology, and experimental diagnostics and therapy, and serves as the federal reference centre for cancer care and research. It is an associate member of the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI); its representative on the OECI list is Ivan S. Stilidi.
