A UK charity that funds a network of brain tumour research centres and campaigns for more national spending on brain tumour research.
Brain Tumour Research describes itself as the only UK charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. It says just 1% of the national spend on cancer research went to brain tumours between 2002 and 2021, and it campaigns for national investment of at least £45 million a year while fundraising for a network of Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK. Its register entry describes the aim as a network of seven research centres. It names brainstrust as a sister charity for support. The Charity Commission register records latest income of about £8.7 million for the year ending 30 June 2025.
